- There is a direct long-distance bus from Kunming West Coach Station to Lijiang, departing at 13:30 daily, with a travel time of about 6 hours and a ticket price of CNY 252 per person.
By Taxi or Private Car
- The distance between Kunming and Lijiang is approximately 502 km, and taking a taxi or driving yourself is also an option, though it will take around 6 hours.
After arriving in Lijiang by train or plane, you can take a bus or taxi to reach Lijiang Ancient Town. For example, from Lijiang Railway Station, you can take bus No.18 to Dayan Middle School and then walk to the South Gate of Lijiang Old Town. From Lijiang Sanyi Airport, you can take the airport shuttle bus to Lantian Hotel and then a taxi to the scenic area.
