
Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (IATA code: TFU) is a large and modern airport located in Lujia Town, Jianyang, Chengdu, 63 kilometers southeast of Chengdu city center, the capital of Sichuan Province, China. It was constructed in 2016 and commenced operations on June 27, 2021, making Chengdu the third city in China to have two international airports, following Beijing and Shanghai.

- The airport covers an area of 600,000 square meters and consists of two terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
- Terminal 1 primarily serves international flights, while Terminal 2 mainly handles domestic flights, including those operated by Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Chengdu Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Lucky Air, and Spring Airlines.

- The airport has three runways, with lengths of 4,000 meters, 3,800 meters, and 3,200 meters. The 4,000-meter runway is rated 4F, the highest level, capable of handling large civil aircraft such as the Airbus A380.

- The airport can be accessed via Metro Line 18, taxi, and airport bus services.
- There are multi-mode transport options, including seamless transfers between metro, coach, taxi, ride-hailing cars, and airport shuttles in the Ground Transportation Center (GTC). Parking services are available 24/7 with sufficient charging piles, parking spaces, and payment & finder kiosks.

- Lost and Found: Located in the departure hall between Gate 6 and 7 in Terminal 1 and behind the Check-in Counter N in Terminal 2. Service hours are from 08:00 to 20:00.
- Luggage Left: Located in the departure hall between Gate 6 and 7 in Terminal 1 and behind the Check-in Counter N and P in Terminal 2. Service hours are from 05:30 to 23:00.
- Medical Services: Available near boarding gates 101 and 118 in Terminal 1, and near boarding gates 138, 168, and Starbucks on the departure floor (near Gate 9) in Terminal 2.
- Currency Exchange: Available at Travelex Currency Exchange and ICE Currency Exchange in Terminal 1, and at Bank of China and ICE Currency Exchange in Terminal 2.
- First-class and Business-class Lounges: Located in corridors A, B, and C in Terminal 1, and in corridors E, F, G, and corridors CD, DE, EF in Terminal 2.
